There was a certain girl called Wendy-Lee. She had a teddybear since she was five years old. Everywhere she went the teddybear went with. When she was nineteen years old she met Chris. She was very much in love with him and believed they would get married. But one Friday evening, Chris was killed in a gangland shooting in Manenberg.
Wendy-Lee became so despondent that she decided never to get married. Later in life- when she was middle-aged - she went to live with her sister and her family in Lansedown.
When she got up in the morning, she would find that lots of very nice food had been prepared for her. By this time her sister, husband and the children would be long gone already and Wendy-Lee would be alone in the big house. The suburb streets would be empty with only the wind blowing on the corners of the house.
She always thought it was her sister that left the nicely prepared food for her before she went to work in the mornings. But one morning she got up very early and then she discovered it was all the time the teddybear who prepared the food for her.
When her sister returned that evening, they found Wendy-Lee dead. He throat was cut open vertically and her feet and hands chopped off. The Teddy bear was positioned on top of her.
